Frequently Asked Questions

What products do you use

I use a wide variety of products that work well on different skin types and they last all day!

Products include: MAC, Nars, Laura Mercier, Inglot, Benefit, YSL, Laura Mercier, Clinique …

If you have sensitive skin or you have any favourite products, just let me know.

Your work is AMAZING. When should I book my wedding day?

After you set your wedding date, I suggest that you book your makeup and hair artist immediately. I usually book up 6 to 9 months in advance. A deposit is required to secure my service(s) for your wedding date. Popular wedding dates in May, June, July, Sept and October book up the quickest.

Should i have a Trial?

If i have been recommended by a friend you might feel comfortable to go ahead and book with me with out a trial. If however you would like to book a tral this can take place weeks or months prior to the big day. I like to get my brides in as soon as you can to ensure you are happy with everything and so you can have another thing ticked off your to do list. I will then keep a written record of the make-up and hair chosen plus digital photographs, making sure we get it 100% right on the day.

Do bridesmaids need a makeup trial?

Bridesmaids, Mum's and friends  generally do not have a makeup trial, this can add to your costs. However, if you have a bridesmaid that is nervous about her look or has any skin issues or allergies, I would recommend a trial to put her mind at ease in this case. Trials are lots of fun and everyone is so delighted when they leave after the trial! I have lots of photographs for you to look at but please bring some with you, particularly hair styles that appeal to you.

Will i have help with me on the wedding day?

Yes Depending on the size of your wedding party i will have either a Hair or Make Up artist or both to assist me on the day. So everything runs smoothly and on time.

What is the wedding day timeline?

The typical time frame will be approximately 3-4 hours. The bride will usually require 1 and a half hours for makeup and hair. Each bridal party receiving hair and makeup will require one hour.

A friendly reminded to all the brides: most delays are caused by the person not being present in the room for their scheduled time slot. To keep things running smoothly, I ask that you have everyone ready when the artist arrives. Myself and my team have been working together for a long time and work efficiently and in rotation.
