I use a wide variety of products that work well on different skin types, and they last all day! Products included: MAC, Nars, Laura Mercier, Inglot, Benefit, YSL, Laura Mercier, Clinique … If you have sensitive skin, or you have any favourite products, just let me know.
After you set your wedding date, I suggest that you book your makeup and hair artist immediately. I usually book up 6 to 9 months in advance. A deposit is required to secure my service(s) for your wedding date. Popular wedding dates in May, June, July, Sept and October book up the quickest.
If I have been recommended by a friend you might feel comfortable going ahead and booking without a trial. If however, you would like to book a trial this can take place weeks or months prior to the big day. I like to get my brides in as soon as possible to ensure they are happy with everything and can have another thing ticked off the to-do list. I will then keep a written record of the makeup and hair chosen plus digital photographs, making sure we get it 100% right on the day.
Bridesmaids, Mum’s and friends generally do not have a makeup trial, this can add to your costs. However, if you have a bridesmaid that is nervous about her look or has any skin issues or allergies, I would recommend a trial to put her mind at ease in this case. Trials are lots of fun and everyone is so delighted when they leave after the trial! I have lots of photographs for you to look at, but please bring some with you, particularly hairstyles that appeal to you.
Yes. Depending on the size of your wedding party, I will have either a Hair or Makeup artist or both to assist me on the day. So everything runs smoothly and on time.
The typical time frame will be approximately 3-4 hours. The bride will usually require 1 and a half hours for makeup and hair. Each bridal party receiving hair and makeup will require one hour.
A friendly reminder to all the brides: most delays are caused by the person not being present in the room for their scheduled time slot. To keep things running smoothly, I ask that you have everyone ready when the artist arrives. My team and I have been working together for a long time and work efficiently and in rotation.
